pringles can creator's will
The Will of the Creator of the Pringles Can: Enter The Ashes of My Body in Pringles Packages Are you one of those who like crispy chips 😱
Pringles? If so, do you know who created this distinctive Pringles packaging?
He is Fred Baur or Fredric John Baur. Fred Baur is the creator and patent owner of Pringles packaging cans. The man who was born June 14, 1918 Toledo, Ohio is an organic chemist and food storage technician.
Fred is also listed as a graduate of the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio and received his Masters and PhD degrees at The Ohio State University. He also served in the Navy USA as an aviation physiologist.
Before he died on May 4, 2008, Fred Baur had conveyed his will. He asked to be buried in his bottle of pringles. The trick is to put some of the ashes into the container.
Fred Baur's children said they honored his request to bury him in one of the cans by placing part of his cremated remains in a Pringles container at his grave in the suburban town of Springfield.
The rest of the ashes were placed in an urn that was buried along with the can, with some being placed in another urn and given to one of his grandchildren.
